Headband Styles for Men

Headbands for men are both fashionable and functional - when done right, that is. 

In designing our headbands, we made sure that we met those two objectives with every decision. The result is a line of best-selling headband styles, all made using ethical manufacturing and the finest natural materials available. 

Our sweat-wicking headbands are perfect for the following:

The Best Selling Mens Headband: the ORGANIC TWIST 

Our best selling men's headband is the Twist - a wide, versatile headband with a single twist. The headband is available in both timeless solid colours and seasonally-aware (on trend) colours. 

Key Features of the Twist Headband for Men

• Made from a blend of the finest organic cotton and just the right amount of spandex. 
• The organic cotton is ridiculously soft, durable and sweat-wicking. If you've ever felt organic cotton side by side with conventional (sprayed) cotton, you'll know the difference. 
• The twist, positioned at the nape of the neck, keeps the headband from slipping during even the most intense physical exercise
• The headband's circumference is 18" though with 7% spandex, the headband easily stretches to comfortably fit a 23" size head, essentially making it One Size Fits All. 
• The headbands are woven, dyed, cut, and sewn in a Fairtrade-certified social good facility run by Nuns. As you'll read, these headbands are infused with good karma at every stage of the production process.

Headband Colors for Men: The TWIST

The Classic TWIST is available in 5 to 10 colours at any given time. We dye in small batches so that we can constantly adapt to seasonal colour trends.

The Organic Twist Headbands are dyed using GOTS certified organic dyes. These non-toxic, low impact dyes are some of the cleanest dyes in the world. Not only that but the GOTS and OEKO-TEX certifications mean that all waters returned into the community must be drinking-quality standard. Who Wears a Twist Headband

Being our top selling mens headband, this headband is used by every demographic of our customer base: young, old, athletic, loungey, travel obsessed, stay at home...

It's a safe gift and a great starting point if buying your first headband. Its versatility (wear it thin, scrunched, open like a bandana) means it fits with every head shape. 

The Classic Mens Headband: the HU

While we no longer manufacture the HU, it was a close second in popularity to the Organic Twist headband. The brilliance of this headband is in its versatility. Featuring a soft, sweat-wicking organic cotton as its body and strong, Tencel (sustainably harvested Eucalyptus trees) for the ties, this headband is guaranteed one size fits all. 

Key Features of the HU Headband for Men

• Cleverly designed body that can be worn thin or opened wide, full bandana headband style
• The body is made from premium organic cotton blended with Spandex. The ties are made of super strong, silk-like Tencel.
• "Ridiculously soft, durable and sweat-wicking" is how the HU is most often described.
• The headband's ties make it One Size Fits All and ensure that you can always adjust it so that the fit is just right.  
• The headbands are woven, dyed, cut, sewn and distributed from L.A. using ethical, local manufacturing.

Because of the ties and the fact it can open to cover the crown of the head, the HU headband is great men that feel comfortable in a traditional bandana. It's also ideally suited to men looking for sun protection, making it the perfect hiking headband and beach head covering. The Beckham Headband: the AUREA

Like the HU, KOOSHOO no is at this time, no longer manufacturing the AUREA headband. However, the iconic, David Beckham inspired, skinny headband was a popular choice among our Mens Headbands! Made from one-of-a-kind organic cotton elastic (blended with 25% natural rubber), this forgiving headband was great for keeping long hair back and getting that surfer-like look.

• Knot can be moved to make the headband shorter or longer, making it One Size Fits All
