The grass is growing, the flowers are blooming and the unmistakable taste of summer is in the air. With summer comes a host of wonderful new eco fashion accessories to keep you looking your best while feeling your best - inside and out.
Here at KOOSHOO our South Pacific roots make us right at home in this type of weather so it should come as no surprise that we have you covered for summer 2015 with this year's must have accessory.
Last Spring we ran a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign (watch the video below) to launch our hottest new product, the Journey Shawl - a stunning, hand dyed shawl that transforms into a dozen plus outfits, making it a must-have travel accessory for women worldwide.
We met our initial funding goal on just the 4th day and by the the time the campaign had closed we'd raised 2.5 times our goal, plus shipped the versatile, multi-use shawl to 23 countries around the world.
This Spring the Journey Shawl has made its debut to the general public (no longer a Kickstarter exclusive) for its first full Spring/Summer season.
The one-size-fits-all Journey Shawl can be worn as a poncho, a scarf, a dress, a skirt or any number of tops and wraps. As the name suggests, it’s a perfect travel accessory, whether heading to the beach or simply going to and from in your day to day. We've also put together some great how-to-wear videos to ensure you get the very most of your Journey Shawl.
The Journey Shawl also boasts an impressive resume of sustainable credentials.
For starters, the shawls are made from soft-as-silk Tencel, a strong and versatile super-fiber made entirely from sustainably harvested Eucalyptus trees. Once woven, each shawl is individually dyed by an artist’s hand in a dye house located in downtown Los Angeles, the only solar powered dye house in the world. Each Shawl then travels to the customer complete with an organic cotton, positive affirmation travel bag.
The Journey Shawl is perfect for travelers, beach-goers, eco-conscious shoppers, yogis and fashionistas. The versatility, stunning hand dyed patterns and sustainable credentials make it the perfect piece for all your summer's journeys to come.
