Be Kind. Be Brave. Be Well. The Passing of a Great Woman.

Just learnt of the passing of Jess Ainscough.

Jess had a blog called The Wellness Warrior in which she, along with a host of talented wellness practitioners (Life Coaches, Yoga Teachers, Chefs...), shared their experience and knowledge about living a healthy, balanced life.

Jess, only 30 when she passed, was in a 7-year battle with a rare form of cancer. Her appreciation for the preciousness of life infused her writing and communications with love and presence in a way that I seldom find elsewhere in wellness writing. We had been personally in touch with her and her team back and forth for about a year as she had - and loved - one of our ENSO Batik headbands. It was such a genuine pleasure to have been in touch with her, if only to let her know how inspiring she was to us.

Life is a gift. Jess was a living example of this. She touched so many around the world in her short 30 years and will be dearly missed but not forgotten. Many blessings to you. Akal Akal Akal.

"The best hair tie I've ever used. The fact that it adheres to my standards of a planet friendly product is a bonus!"

"You guys, these scrunchies are ridiculous. I have THICK hair and I'm so pumped that not only can I wrap it around my hair twice, but it stays in without slowly falling out."
